In 2015, the Barbara Jordan Post Office (1961, Wilson, Morris, Crain & Anderson) was decommissioned and sold to Lovett Commercial. Lovett engaged OMA New York/Jason Long and Powers Brown Architecture to design an innovative adaptive resuse project.
The tour of the public areas will include the 5-acre rooftop Skylawn.
This tour is organized by Houston Mod and will be led by Jeanette Shaw, Associate, Powers Brown Architecture.
